My tenth grade class was assigned to create an activism project to do something to help your community. I had noticed alot of businesses were shutting down, while new Wal-Marts and Publixs were being built in their place. But it's not just stores closing, but other businesses like locally owned welding companies and electric companies. Every type of business that is run by local citizens are losing work because of chain companies. The econmic crash isn't helping. With people losing their jobs, it just makes the problem worse. |
